The List Of Affirmations To Use During Hard Times + Techniques To End Carnal Mindedness

Hard times are a part of our lives, and nobody is “trouble-proof”, regardless of how faithful we may be. In fact, the more faithful, the greater the trouble! In the Bible, we read about troubles and overcomers. The Lord loves overcomers and blesses them. Endurance is irreplaceable. It is a clear mark of warriors. As Dan Pena says, tough times don’t last, but tough people do.

Losers focus on what they’re going through, winners where they’re going to. Where attention goes, the energy flows, so your trouble might seem bigger than it actually is. It is helpful to know that warfare always lingers around the birth of a miracle.

Here are a few verses from the Bible:

“To the one who overcomes, I will give the right to eat from the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God.” Revelation 2:7

“The one who overcomes will not be hurt at all by the second death.” Revelation 2:11

“To the one who overcomes and continues in My work until the end, I will give authority over the nations.” Revelation 2:26

“He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life, but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels.” Revelation 3:5

“Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God” Revelation 3:12

“To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.” Revelation 3:21

Jesus Christ, Himself had to overcome troubles:

“In the world, ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” John 16:33

Therefore, we shouldn’t be trying to avoid troubles, ’cause they will find us anyhow. What we should do is to get mentally and spiritually ready for them.

I hold it true that the best way to prepare one’s mind for troubles is by reminding oneself of the true identity. Whenever I ask someone “who are you?”, an error 404 pops up above their heads, but the answer is in fact very simple.

The Bible says God is a Spirit (“God is Spirit” John 4:24), and (“God created man in his own image” Genesis 1:27), therefore, all experiences we call troubles exist only in the physical plane. To be physically minded and earthly bound, we need to be slaves of carnal mindedness. That is the domination of the 5 physical senses.

“To be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace” Romans 8:6

Jesus told us not to take thoughts for our lives! That means to walk by faith, and not by sight, or, in other words, don’t let your carnal mind bound you to the physical reality, for you are not a physical but a spiritual creature!

“Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life” Matthew 6:25

Rulers of this world very often laugh at our faces by setting clues before our eyes and noses. They obviously think nobody has awakened and is aware of their deeds. That’s why we can find 9/11 and pictures of burning WTCs in many cartoons, commercials, magazines, and even movies, that were made prior to 2001.

They’ve done the same thing with a well-known “Tik-Tok”. Tick, tock, goes the clock, right? Here is the thing: human minds take another thought every four seconds, which means we sin quite often on a daily basis. Fortunately, a man I love listening to (Matthew David Hurtado) came up with the P.T.T. technique (perfect timing technique). Whenever you find yourself thinking about nonsense, snap fingers every four seconds and declare the following affirmations:

  • God loves me, and I love God
  • I am set apart, firmly established in perfection
  • God is love, I am love

Therefore, it would look like this:

#1) Snap, God is love.. snap, I am love.. snap, God loves me.. snap, I love God.. snap I am set apart.. snap, firmly established in perfection.. snap God is love.. snap I am love

.., and keep repeating until your mind changes the frequency of operation. I was often waking up during nights, terrified for no reason. The P.T.T. technique would calm me down instantly, and my nights were no more ruined by anxiety.

There is another technique called “ABC Prosperity”. Whenever we feel resistance in the mind, we must pause and declare “It – is – NOT – It!”. Repeat at least three times, then ask yourself the following question until you feel the sense of peace as resistance leaves “Could I allow for just this moment things to be exactly as they are?”. Both answers (yes/no) are correct.

Once you calm down, enter the being-state of consciousness. See yourself being, doing, having, and experiencing your dreams. Don’t set limits before yourself, ’cause everything is possible to those that believe.

“All things are possible to him that believeth” Mark 9:23

“Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.” Mark 11:24

“Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.” Matthew 7:7

“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness and all these THINGS shall be added unto you.” Matthew 6:33

“Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.” Luke 12:32

Those are words of Jesus Christ, not mine. You may question my legitimacy, but there are no questions about Christ’s legitimacy.

AFFIRMATIONS

The more you learn to work your mind, the less you’ll have to work your behind. I am not suggesting you shall use sneaky and tricky ways to earn money. No, keep your nose clean, and your business straight, but don’t work yourself out for a nickel when you can earn a thousand with the same amount of effort.

In addition, I suggest you read the first part of “The Prophetic You”: https://empireofconsciousness.com/the-prophetic-you-part-1-affirmations-to-call-the-divine-presence-within/

That article contains great affirmations for calling the divinity within and scratches the surface of the mind’s modus-operandi.

a) Affirmations To Alter Paradigm (self-image):

“Right here, and right now, I AM constructing a positive self-image. I see myself in the theatre of my mind, being, doing, and having all the good that I desire. I AM blessed and highly favored. Prosperity and joyfulness are natural, and my birthrights. Thank you, God-In-Me, for the blessings and gifts you are enriching me every day, all day, all the time. Amen”

Explanation: your mind will take shape of what you frequently hold in thoughts, for the human spirit is colored by such impressions. Every mental mark must find its equivalent physical expression, therefore, it is dangerous to think negatively about ourselves. Here are some quotes that envisage the importance of the right thoughts.

“The happiness of your life depends upon the qualities of your thoughts.” Marcus Aurelius

“What you see is what you get!” Flip Wilson

“Where there is no vision, the people perish.” Proverbs 29:18 (just be careful not to have a destructive vision)

“Be you transformed by the renewing of your mind.” Romans 12:2

“Whatever the mind can conceive and believe, the mind can achieve.” Napoleon Hill

“We become what we think about most of the time.” Earl Nightingale

b) Affirmations For Forgiveness:

“Right here, and right now, I forgive and forget all of those I think have wronged me in the past. I let go of all grudges deep down in my heart and my mind, and I forgive myself for the mistakes I have made.

I forgive myself, and I forget my guilt.

I forgive others, and I forget their guilt too.

I cancel guilt from my mind, and my heart and I look to the God-In-Me for health, happiness, love, success, and prosperity. Thank you, God-In-Me! Amen.”

Once you begin to feel easier around your heart, change the affirmations. Do not declare anymore “I forgive and forget”, otherwise, you’ll end up stuck on that level.

Instead, pray as follows: “Right here, and right now, I am declaring my mind and heart free and clean from grudges, guilt, and unforgiveness. My heart is joyful, my mind is clean. Thank you, God-In-Me, for love, and serenity! Amen.”

c) Affirmations For Health: the following affirmations have been used by Dr. Joseph Murphy and his patient. Both men have used them successfully and cured “incurable” tumors. Read them at least two times daily, once in the morning, and once right before sleep. Do not despair if you begin to feel drowsy. That means your mind has lowered the frequency and is entering the theta phase of operation. Affirmations are most useful in theta and delta (sleeping) phases! Relax as much as possible, and declare as follows:

“My feet are relaxed. My ankles are relaxed. My legs are relaxed. My abdominal muscles are relaxed. My heart and lungs are relaxed. My head is relaxed. My whole body and being are relaxed. The perfection of God is now being expressed through me. The idea of perfect health is now filling my subconscious mind. The image God has of me is a perfect image, and my subconscious mind recreates my body in perfect accordance with the perfect image held in the mind of God. Thank you, God, for the perfect health you are blessing me with. Amen.”

The presence of God within me blesses the presence of God within you. Remain blessed and highly favored. 🤗
